Learn to create masterpieces with beads! This class is ideal for beginners or those returning. Students will start with the picture of a flower or a simple picture of your choice. Students will learn to select artwork that is appropriate for beading, how to prepare canvas and the basics of beading a hand stitched masterpiece. HollyAnna will teach you how to sew beads on a fixed canvas background and give pointers on placement, spacing and coloration.
Class Fee: $20, Kit: $15 (The kit consists of an artist’s prepared pre-stretched canvas, Pattern, backing, Needle, Thread and choice of 3 colors of bead strings.)
If you choose to bring your own materials and not buy a kit, please bring: Seed beads, size 10-12 recommended. (Seed beads, must be Rounds not Delica cylinder beads. Opaque colors work better than transparent colors.) Material to sew on, needle, thread and a pattern.
