10x10x10xTieton Call for Entries

The 11th annual 10x10x10xTieton call for entry opens March 11 and has been extended to close June 15. This international small works exhibition invites artists to submit works 10 inches by 10 inches by 10 inches or smaller, no media restrictions. All accepted works, to be featured in the exhibition at the Mighty Tieton Warehouse beginning August 8, are published in a fully illustrated, hand bound exhibition catalogue made right here at Paper Hammer Studio! JURORS

Marina Pacini

Pacini retired as Chief Curator and Curator of American, Modern, and Contemporary Art in 2019 after 18 years at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Among the exhibitions she organized are Marisol: Sculptures and Works on Paper(2014), which travelled to El Museo del Barrio in New York, and was accompanied by a catalog co-published by Yale University Press; Red Grooms: Traveling Correspondent(2016, with catalog); Photographs from the Memphis World, 1949-1964(2008, with catalog); and The Soul of a City: Memphis Collects African American Art(2012). Timothy J. Standring

Timothy J. Standring is the Gates Family Foundation Curator at the Denver Art Museum. He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame; his MA and PhD from the University of Chicago. Standring has been a Fellow at The Clark Art Institute, a Guest Scholar at the J. Paul Getty Museum, and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Visual Arts (CASVA) at the National Gallery of Art, in addition to receiving other grants.  Standring has curated over seventeen exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum and has published widely on topics that include 17th-century Roman patrons, monographic studies on Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, British watercolor sketching, Poussin’s early works, Van Gogh’s drawings, contemporary realist artists, Degas’s monotypes, and Rembrandt’s prints. His next project involves American artists working in France throughout the late 19th-century. Six questions with Timothy Standring.

ELIGIBILITY

Everyone! No geographic limits. All entries must be of original design and personal execution.

MEDIA

All media welcome. Works must be original and made within the previous three years.

SIZE

No piece may be larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10 inches, including frame or case.

SUBMISSION FEES 

$30 for first two submissions. $12 for each additional artwork. Minimum two submissions required. Submit only one JPEG per artwork.

SUBMITTING

All materials, including entry fees and images, must be submitted at CallForEntry.org.
