Mighty Tieton tours with Ed Marquand

Join Mighty Tieton founder and owner of Paper Hammer Books, Ed Marquand, for a tour of Mighty Tieton and learn the story of how this tiny town came back to life through creative practices. Get an inside look into the artist studios and learn about the ins and outs of creative enterprise as a civic activism.

Mosaic walk tour with Lucas Spivey, ‘09

Explore the role of civic investment in the arts on a walking tour of Tieton with Lucas Spivey, ’09, partner at Services Invisible and Executive Director of Tieton Arts and Humanities.

Studio tour & sound installation by Trimpin, kinetic sculptor

A MacArthur “Genius” Award and a Guggenheim Fellow, Trimpin is a German-born kinetic sculptor, sound artist and musician.  He “manufactures orchestras that play themselves,”  and is described in New York’s Village Voice as “a genius at circuitry and machinery as well as acoustics and musical structure.” He has been hailed as “one of the awesome musical geniuses of the early 21st century.”
